Founded in 1878, the company is headquartered in Benicia, CA, and operates additional facilities in Sparks, NV and Rockville, CA.Position SummaryThe Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for developing and executing demand plans, facilitating the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and ensuring alignment between sales, program management, Customer Support and Service (CSS), production, and inventory management. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to support the company's sales and operational goals.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales input.Collaborate with Business Development (Sales), Program Management, and Production teams to align demand plans with business objectives.Monitor and analyze inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand without overstocking.Identify, implement and manage demand planning tools.Coordinate and lead S&OP meetings, ensuring participation from key stakeholders across sales, programs, CSS, operations, and finance.Develop and maintain the S&OP calendar, ensuring timely preparation and distribution of meeting materials.Analyze sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory levels to identify gaps and opportunities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement action plans to address demand and supply imbalances.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and S&OP, providing regular updates to senior management.Identify and mitigate risks related to demand variability and supply chain disruptions.Continuously improve demand planning and S&OP processes and methodologies.Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all related systems and reports.All Other Duties as AssignedMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in demand planning and S&OP software and ERP systems.Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and project management skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Citizenship: U.S. Citizen or qualified U.S. Person in accordance with ALU 22CFR 120.15.
