Job Description:
A company is looking for a Sr. Reimbursement Specialist to
provide high-quality customer service and assist patients and
medical providers with reimbursement processes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct benefit investigations and verify insurance benefits for
patients and physicians
Maintain and enter data in client databases, ensuring completeness
for case status determination
Educate patients and prescribers on program requirements and
facilitate referrals
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
4 - 6 years of experience in insurance, biotechnology, or
pharmaceutical industries
Experience in health insurance claims or patient accounting is a
plus
Computer proficiency in MS Office applications; database experience
is a plus
Knowledge of third-party billing, coding, medical terminology, and
prior authorizations preferred
