Position SummaryThe Demand Planning Manager will be responsible for developing and executing demand plans, facilitating the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and ensuring alignment between sales, program management, Customer Support and Service (CSS), production, and inventory management. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments to support the company's sales and operational goals.
Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and sales input.
• Collaborate with Business Development (Sales), Program Management, and Production teams to align demand plans with business objectives.
• Monitor and analyze inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet customer demand without overstocking.
• Identify, implement and manage demand planning tools.
• Coordinate and lead S&OP meetings, ensuring participation from key stakeholders across sales, programs, CSS, operations, and finance.
• Develop and maintain the S&OP calendar, ensuring timely preparation and distribution of meeting materials.
• Analyze sales forecasts, production plans, and inventory levels to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement action plans to address demand and supply imbalances.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and S&OP, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to demand variability and supply chain disruptions.
• Continuously improve demand planning and S&OP processes and methodologies.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all related systems and reports.

  Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in demand planning and S&OP software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizen or qualified U.S. Person in accordance with ALU 22CFR 120.15. May require the ability to obtain DOD security clearance.Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in a high mix, low volume manufacturing setting.
    • APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is a plus.Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentMust have the following physical abilities:
      • Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, reach, and lift.
      • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
